Summer TBR Wipeout 2016: Introductory Post

Hello, human being. Welcome to another blog post! This blog post will serve as my introductory posts for the the Summer TBR Wipeout 2016, a reading challenge hosted by the lovely The Candid Cover and I am very excited to be participating! In this post, I will be sharing what books I plan to read!

For those of you who don’t know what the purpose of this challenge is, well, let me explain. This is basically a challenge to “wipeout” your TBR (To Be Read list) hence the title. A great thing about this is it’s simple and inclusive to everyone. You don’t even need to have a blog or website to participate! All you need is a social media platform wherein you can make your posts (examples are Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, etc.).

Another amazing thing about this challenge is it is very laid-back and your TBR can be as big or little as  you want. This is very important for me since I don’t really have a ton of books in my TBR that I own, I mostly just borrow books from one of my best friends and we swap most of the time. Another thing is that my family booked a lot of activities for us this month. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with my family but I think they were a bit too ambitious.

For a better explanation, head on over to the sign-up post!

I think I’ve rambled enough so here are the books I’m hoping to read. This is a bit of an ambitious list, but whatever.

All book cover photos are taken from Goodreads.

Have you read any of the books I mentioned? Probably, because I’m always late to the bandwagon. Did you love or hate them, or are they just meh? Are you going to join this challenge as well? Let’s talk, leave a comment below! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I am loving your TBR! So many of my favourite reads are here. I can’t wait to find out what you think of Dreamology. It is one that I have had my eye on for quite some time. Happy reading and enjoy all of those exciting family adventures! 🙂

    • I’m so happy to know that you loved many of the books in my TBR, I’m more excited than ever to start reading them! Dreamology is really an eye-candy, both summary and cover-wise, I hope it doesn’t disappoint. Thank you so much! 🙂

  2. Good luck!! I’ve read Fangirl, Isla, TATBILB, and We Were Liars. I loved the first 3, but I wasn’t a fan of WWL. I hope you enjoy all of them, and the others! 😀

  3. I’ve seen this challenge floating around the blogosphere. Summer seems to be a really popular time for challenges. I’ve been meaning to pick up Me Before You myself, not sure when I’ll be able to. Dreamology is on my library TBR as well. I hope you get a chance to pick up all the books on your list despite all the family plans you have!

  4. That sounds like so much fun! I think I will join in seeing as my TBR is massive at the moment. I haven’t read any of the books on your TBR for this challenge, but I have had my eyes on a couple of them for awhile. I can’t wait to see what you think of them!

  5. All of your books are in my tbr too! But they’re not in my this readathon’s TBR. I hope that you enjoy them this summer!

  6. That looks like a great list! I haven’t read any of them, but a few are on my “want to read” list (although not on my TBR knockout list). I’m banning myself from new book acquisition until I get the pile under control!

  7. I only read 1/2 of the books you mentioned, but Me Before You is by far my favorite of them all. I actually didn’t like We Were Liars. Bleeeh ugh. Bad memories. Fangirl is adorable! And To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before has such a calm atmosphere.

    • I’ve read Me Before You and it was so good! ❤ Also, I've been hearing mixed feelings about We Were Liars so I'm kinda wary. Maybe I'll like it? I'm currently reading Fangirl, and it is adorable! I've actually read TAtBILB and I agree with you. I hope I'll like it the second time around. Thanks for commenting! 😀
