Aaaaaah, how is it 2019 already
in a few hours? While my family is getting ready to celebrate the incoming new year, I’m up here in my room typing away so I got to make this quick.
I’ve spent the last hour thinking of a blog post to conclude the year with. I wasn’t intending to write a wrap-up in the first place since I don’t think I’ve accomplished much in 2018. So instead, here’s a year-ender message to all you beautiful humans. There would be extreme cheesiness, albeit quick, beyond this point. You have been warned.
First off, not to blow my own horn but I just have to say how proud I am of myself to have come this far in terms of blogging. When I first started, being the shy and introverted person that I am, I never expected to branch out to people in the community. But now, I’m so glad that I did because this community is like no other.
Thank you. You don’t know how much this means to me. Despite being relatively new to the community and despite me having a “small” blog, you all have accepted me and been nothing but kind. From giving others book recommendations to fulfilling each other’s book wish lists to helping everyone reach their individual goals, this community has showed me how blessed I am to be a part of it. All of you have a special place in my heart that will remain with me even after I stop blogging (which I hope isn’t anytime soon).
I know, I’m an emotional mess that you probably don’t want to have anything to do with after this but I can’t help it, I’m sorry haha. Anyway. I’m grateful that all of you were part of my 2018 and I sincerely hope you’ll be a part of my 2019 and the years to come as well. I wish you all a happy and prosperous new year. May your hearts get what you all desire. *waves imaginary wand to give y’all more books because I know that’s what you want*
Hugs and kisses,
